Questions people ask

When should a business post for a festival?

Post the build-up 3 to 5 days before the festival, when people are planning and shopping, and a short wish on the day itself. The calendar below shows that posting window next to every festival.

Where do these festival dates come from?

The festival dates follow the Government of India holiday lists for central government offices (gazetted and restricted holidays) for each year. Eid dates depend on the moon sighting and can move by a day. Some festivals are celebrated a day earlier or later in some states, so check your local calendar for regional festivals.

Should a festival post always have an offer?

No. A warm wish without an offer often reads better and gets shared more. If you do have an offer, put it in its own post a few days before, and only promise what you can actually give.

Can clinics and CA firms post festival wishes?

Yes. Keep them to a wish, your timings or a useful tip. Do not promise results, do not use patient or client photos without consent, and let the doctor or partner approve each post before it goes out.

Can Takneek Social plan these festival posts for me?

Yes. Takneek Social plans a month of posts for your business with Indian festivals already on the calendar, writes them in English, Hindi or Hinglish in your logo and colours, and publishes them to Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile and YouTube after you approve them.
